Hello everyone, introducing my name Radine and welcome to my blog. So today my friends and I are learning English. Then I got an assignment to make a Reporter, and here is the result of my assignment.

PEMILOS 2023/2024 AT SMKN 4 SEMARANG

 

SMK Negeri 4 Semarang organized an event known as PEMILOS, short for "Student Council President Candidate Selection." This event took place on Thursday, October 19, 2023, between 07:00 and 15:00 WIB, and it was attended by the entire school community, gathering specifically at the main field.

The primary objective of this election for the Student Council (OSIS) president at SMK N 4 Semarang was to nurture democratic values among students and the school community through practical experience. The voting process in PEMILOS utilized a manual system, where participants used paper and voting tools placed in a ballot box. To signify their participation in PEMILOS, students dipped their right pinky finger in ink.

This exercise encourages students to engage in critical thinking, ultimately enhancing their comprehension and awareness of democratic principles. Furthermore, the OSIS president election at SMK N 4 Semarang was conducted with unwavering support and responsibility, aimed at averting post-election conflicts.
